Air Conditioning

To operate Air Conditioners please allow at least 5-10 minutes after activating the air conditioner for airflow to commence heating or cooling the room. Some rooms have an additional on/off switch which is located either beside the bed or outside the bathroom.

Optimum running temperature is between 18-24.

Signs your air conditioner is going through the defrost cycle

  • The indoor and outdoor fans will pause for a period of time.
  • The compressor will keep running and can appear louder than normal.
  • Some models of air conditioning units display an icon on the controller indicating the heat is on standby or in defrost mode during this time.

Ways to reduce the defrost cycle

  • Do not set the thermostat too high. A lower thermostat setting will place less load on your air conditioner and prevent it from having to go into the defrost cycle as often.

Consumables

A starter pack containing long life milk, tea, coffee & sugar are provided for your convenience. These items are replenished daily by Housekeeping.                                                                                                       Coles Supermarket is located behind Hungry Jacks approximately 200 metres away for any further items you wish to purchase for your stay.

Iron & Ironing Board

Iron & Ironing boards are located in the Laundry in the 2 Bedroom townhouses.                                       In all other rooms they are located in the wardrobe.

Microwave

Cutlery & crockery are located in the cupboard. If you require any further items we may be able to assist you at reception.

Kettle

To assist in filling your kettle with water, some rooms need to use the small jug located in the cupboard.

Call charges to outside calls are billed to your account. They are generally charged about the same as those made from a mobile phone.

Television

Your Television has been tuned to optimum settings. Local channels are available on all TV’s.    Deluxe, Studios & 2 Bedroom Townhouses offer smart TV’s. If you have a current subscription to Netflix etc you can utilise these features. Please ensure you log out before your departure.

All smart TV’s are logged into their own wifi network. Please do not use the individual wifi codes for televisions.

Toaster

Toasters can be found in the cupboard. Basic cutlery & crockery are also provided for your convenience.

WIFI

Free wifi is available to all guests. Current wifi password is WIFIBMI                                                                                    Please ensure you tick the terms & conditions box located on the log in page to access the wifi.
